A little care keeps your products safe, hygienic, and lasting longer. Here’s a simple guide — and always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific item, too.
Cleaning, step by step

Before and after every use, clean your toy with warm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap, or a dedicated toy cleaner.

Be gentle around seams, charging ports, and buttons — don’t let water get inside anything that isn’t labeled waterproof.

Dry thoroughly with a clean, lint-free cloth before storing.
Know your material

Non-porous materials (medical-grade silicone, glass, stainless steel, ABS plastic) are the easiest to keep clean and most hygienic.

Porous materials (such as TPE/TPR, jelly, and some “real-feel” materials) can’t be fully sanitized — clean them well, consider using a condom over them, and replace them more often.

Never use silicone lubricant on silicone toys — it can break down the surface over time. Water-based lube is always a safe choice.
Charging & batteries
- Remove the small plastic battery tab on new battery-powered toys before first use.
- Fully charge rechargeable toys before the first use, and don’t leave them charging indefinitely.
- Remove the batteries from battery-operated toys during long-term storage.
Storing your toys
- Store them clean and completely dry, in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep toys separate (a pouch or bag for each) — some materials can react with one another if they touch.
When to replace a toy
Replace any toy that’s cracked, sticky, discolored, holds a lasting odor, or won’t come fully clean. When in doubt, it’s always better to replace it.
One note on “waterproof”
Only submerge toys clearly labeled waterproof — “splashproof” is not the same thing. Check the product details if you’re unsure.
